1. Drop in Milk Yield: Cattle fail to achieve their optimum milk production potential based on their breed.
2. Breeding & Conception Issues: Livestock fail to conceive naturally at the right time. Cattle often do not get pregnant within 2.5 to 2.75 months after calving.
3. Uterine Disorders: Problems like repeated breeding failure (silent heat), weak heat cycles, and uterine prolapse (protrusion of the uterus).
4. Pregnancy Complications: Issues like calves getting stuck in the 8th month of pregnancy or the birth of extremely weak calves leave farmers confused and helpless.
5. Severe Financial Losses: Despite trying multiple remedies, farmers fail to find a permanent solution. Eventually, infertile cattle are sent to slaughterhouses. This causes a direct loss of ₹1 to ₹1.5 Lakh per cow. Currently, over 20,000 cattle across Maharashtra face these issues, pushing farmers into heavy debt.
